The massive destruction of Russian tanks is due their inability to use combined arms. They have very much lost any ability to move, shoot and maneuver. The Korean War did not demonstrate a technology gap. No. Korean tanks were T-34s which were not markedly superior to the Sherman or Patton tanks used by the USA and inferior in the way they were used. This played across the world in every conflict in which Russian v. US tanks were employed. The latter always crushed the former. The Abrams does not get 26 miles to the gallon. In fact, in takes 2 gallons of petrol for each mile traversed. Also, the Abrams tanks are anything but lumbering. They are the fastest ground element on the battlefield and can easily go 40 mph and accelerate rapidly. They actually go much faster than this. Regardless, they are very quick, highly maneuverable and deadly. If you can see something, you can kill it with a 90+% chance of doing so. You want multiple platforms, heavy tanks, medium tanks and light tanks. Other platforms that can launch drones sound good as well. Dismissing the idea of large-scale tank battles is premature. If you achieve air superiority you can defeat the issues outlined in the video. The reason the Russians can't mass their armor is not that they become targets. It's because they lack the ability to do so tactically, technically and logistically.
