The airstrikes and events you are speaking about are not nearly as important as those in Israel. That is one reason they are not as heavily covered. Israel is the sole democracy in the Middle East and Israel is a nuclear power. Also, Israeli wars with the Arab states have had worldwide consequences and likely will continue to do so; Yemen and Turkey fighting the Kurds or issues in West Africa, will not. Failure to recognize basic reality is the issue with Simon's critique, it is not about a Jewish conspiracy or cabal controlling media, which is insinuated. All events are not equal. Also, remember that MSM has been vastly reduced in the last decades due to the internet. Without profit, news sources cannot report on everything but only on what is most important, given reporters are limited to various countries and not everywhere, as in the past.
