  1. The Quaran was likely taken mostly from Gnostic Christian sources, which is why we see a lot of similarities and yet striking differences in many of these stories. Obviously, the largest difference theologically, is that Jesus, the Messiah, the son of God is also a redeemer through atonement and repentance. But in Islam Jesus is merely a prophet and subservient to Mohammad. Nor is Jesus the son of God or a savior of mankind. Christ's crucifixion vs. it being faked in Islamic tradition Christ's resurrection vs. nothing of the sort in Islam Man is sinless vs. sinful by nature in Christianity Salvation through submission to Allah vs through the atonement of Christ You cannot say the Old Testament Mosaic law is accepted by Christianity. This is ignorant or disingenuous. You must use the Beatitudes vs. Sharia if you want to compare the two faiths accurately. Islam is not only a religion but a political and legal system, and Christianity is not. Islam is about submission; Christianity is about choice. Islam has Jihad, there is nothing similar in Christianity. The Crusades were a Papal invention, not Biblical. Also, you must understand the Hadiths as well as the Quarn if you want to compare Islam with any other faith. Islam has no Baptism, while in Christianity it is an essential ordinance. Obviously, the Abrahamic story has multiple significant differences, Issaac vs Ishmael; The Kaaba being the place of sacrifice in Arabian obviously, rather than in Palestine; Numerous other differences emphasizing idol worship, Nimrod, miracles and much more, all very different than in the Bible. etc...etc...
