The French are much more patriotic than most Europeans. The problem with the FN is the history of the party being founded by an Anti Semite, which is why the party is labeled far right. The French are still very much engaged in Africa and know very well the dangers of radical Islam and the importation of millions of low and no skilled people from the continent. Likely Le Pen will not win and perhaps it is time for her to pass the baton to her quite able niece, who is younger and more articulate than the Madam. Then with this new face, twice removed from the founder, maybe the FN can escape the shadows hanging over it and emerge as mainstream Right.
