  2. 1 million Iraqis did not die because of the Iraq War nor due to American military or decisions. This number is a total fabrication based upon very flawed analysis. Biggest blunder in 30 years is far different than greatest blunder, as in the title. Iran does not control of Iraq. Were this correct, US forces would not be operating there now. Iranian nuclear possibilities have little or nothing to do with US involvement in Iraq and the Iraq War. The US is a global superpower, the only one, which accomplishes multiple missions concurrently, all the time.
