  6. Breaking away from Britain would likely be a very bad move for Scotland. The EU is not worth separating over. The EU is not going to make it in the long run regardless. As Southern members like Greece or Spain begin to default, the Union will collapse.

  8.  @New-ye2fl  Britain is the name imposed on the Roman province, which has been extended to the entire island, with the conquests of England against Wales and then Scotland. So primarily it is a political identification, which over the centuries has been come to synonymously apply to the island geographically, though the term Great Britain is also used this way. So, your distinction, is really nonsensical and irrelevant to the wider discussion...mate.
