  5. This guy is an idiot. He does not know his current events or history and his analysis is just wrong. Ukraine began with the Russian invasion, which the Biden admin. Went to extraordinary lengths to prevent by making known classified intelligence. The money spent in Afghanistan was a fraction of that given to Ukraine, and by the time we left, it was minuscule. So ignorant. Also, we had soldiers in Afghanistan fighting, though not in last several years and that is not the case in Ukraine. That is a huge difference. No, you leave the old equipment behind because it is to be used by the local regime and is more expensive to bring home than it is to simply leave it in place. Dumb analysis. We do not have a military-industrial complex. This trope must die. We cannot even produce enough basic munitions to sustain several months of LSCO. We need to rebuild our industrial base to have a MIC, actually. No, NATO expansion did not violate any agreement with the defunct USSR. That is wrong and has been refuted by Gorbachev himself. It's like repeating the 40 acres and mule trope of the Civil War. It's just wrong. The govt. of the USA had no agreement with the USSR or Russia not to extend the borders of NATO membership and the extension is not what caused the invasion of Ukraine. Supporting Ukraine is about making Russia pay a hefty price for the invasion, so much so that it will not be tempted to continue such aggressions with other nations on its borders and to give a warning to other nations, such as China, N. Korea, Iran, etc...that belligerence will be met with force. Winning for Ukraine means surviving as a viable independent state, which is 100% possible. Also, what is the alternative, surrendering Ukraine to Russia? Is that a good idea? No. You have to think of the consequences of such a move, what do Russia and other aggressors think from it? Also, there is the strange idea that this is our decision to make. It is not. Ukraine will continue to fight regardless, and Russia will continue to fight regardless. There is such arrogance and nonunderstanding going on here. Don't poke the bear with Ukraine? We did no poking. Before the invasion, there was no movement to admit Ukraine into NATO or the EU. This is another false narrative. If you listen or read Putin's own speeches about Ukraine, he clearly states that Ukraine is not a legitimate nation and should be part of Russia and should be part of Russia. That is why the invasion happened. There are no Biden Neo Con. This is another word that should be dispensed with. It was ok during the Iraq War but no longer. Russia is not stronger now than before the war. That is a dumb statement. Russia has been badly hurt by this war by every metric. The Russian military is now blooded and combat tested but has shown itself to be pathetic, unable to launch combined arms offensives, break though and exploit Ukraine's lines and conduct basic maneuvers or even logistics operations. They have not been able to destroy Ukraine's air force. It's embarrassing. Yes, because Russia is the largest nuclear power on the planet and has a very large military. Compare China, that has a military with zero combat experience since it's fiasco invasion of Vietnam in 1979, and a completely corrupt officer corps. What a superficial understanding of military dynamics.
