Really ignorant assessment. If NATO were a war machine you would expect the European nations to be armed and they universally are not but have pathetic militaries. Iraq and Afghanistan were American affairs, with extremely small European commitments and were in response to Islamic Jihad/terror impacting everyone that continues today. Libya was a British and French endeavor supporting anti Quaddaffi rebels, who sprang up on their own. Serbia aggressed against its neighbors, was defeated in turn by all of them but continued to cause instability in the Balkans which the Europeans could not contain, so Clinton intervened with a bombing campaign that collapsed the govt. If those are your examples of a war machine, I suggest you redefine your term.

@Tapper1969 Given the 9-11 attack was planned and orchestrated from Afghanistan, you are wrong. That is a threat, which could be repeated. Iraq was deemed a threat due to WMD. Iraq had a history of aggression against its neighbors and own people and had attempted multiple times to acquire WMD and even used chemicals against its Kurdish population and Iran. The threat was real and no one disputed it at the time, not even the Russians. Neither were propaganda, you are simply ignorant or being disingenuous.
