Shapiro is as sharp as ever.

The entire Jan 6 hoopla and the indictments, arrests and imprisonments and fines could have been justified, if we had done the same thing during the 2020 Summer of Rage but we did not and therefore, Jan 6 all looks very much like political motivated persecution rather than justice.

Megyn is a force of nature.

Remember during the early days of COVID, when an Aircraft carrier commander disobeyed orders and returned to port because of fear of covid spread among his youthful crew. Or when another carrier burned up in San Diego harbor because the leadership could not decide or take responsibility for containing the fire. We have so many problems with the military and especially the leadership.

What about the $2 trillion deficit we now face? This is not acceptable.
12
Living in Utah at the moment and I fairly despise M. Romney. He needs to go. The Govt. cannot use its power to coerce private business to bypass the legal process to prohibit speech.
10
Right but camping in urban areas is illegal. Abusing your body and others are sins. Most homeless do both.
7
Everyone wants clean air and water but we do not want the EPA creating its own rules and regulations outside of Congressionally passed law. We also don't want AGCC and CO2 being confused with pollution, neither is the case.
7
Sure but you should not be allowed to camp in public urban areas, pollute an area with your excrement, panhandle, harass and despoil the land.
7
Multiple fines turn into felonies and then you incarcerate them.
7
Lee is correct. The budget is out of control and the process also. This is the primary responsibility of Congress and yet they cannot manage it.
7
Not correct, review your footage.
6
Most advanced drones in the world, according to who? Where do you get this information? Turkey is a major producer but I think your assertion is a bit much.
6
Homelessness is not really about poverty but about a lifestyle choice. This is the fundamental error being made.
5
Many places are cheaper than the US but they are also vastly poorer than the USA.
5
Neither will look like clowns. Getting Ukraine to agree is 50% of the equation. If the Russians refuse, there will be consequences.
5
There really is no such things as defensive or offensive weapons. In war, all weapons are used in both ways.
5
The EPA is out of control.
5
I like Vivek but his comments here are very much off regarding the last 20 years, war and American foreign policy. Attacking Niki Haley as a military contractor is also an incorrect usage of the term and a cheap jab at his adversary.
4
Because they refuse to enter shelters where one can be had.
4
@avernvrey7422 It is not illegal to build your own home. As long as you follow legal requirements. Many people do this where I live.
4
Kagan and Sotomayor always want to argue and will not let the lawyer(s) respond.
3
Haley is right about the abortion argument.
3
Most of the homeless prefer this life than living normally. It's a lifestyle choice for the vast majority of people doing it.
3
Awesome!
3
@PeaPod-11.11 I agree
3
Do you really not know when the national election is? It is November 2024.
3
Excellent and refreshing views.

Addicts who live on the streets are a danger for everyone.

The definition of extremism has not been determined and the mandatory training, etc...using such terminology, is all very problematic. These types of programs are creating huge morale problems and if continued will cause a large number/percentage of veteran troops to leave the service. Diversity, equity and inclusion is a ridiculous concept for any meritocracy, especially the US military. Promotion and filling of slots must not be based on these ideas, to do so, will definitely degrade fighting ability, morale, readiness etc... The 'right representation' is such a wrong headed way of thinking for the Sec of Def. So much of this meeting and questioning was about politics and ideology as opposed to defending the nation and how the military can better do that.

The military does not need continual pay increases. I'm a soldier and have been for a very long time. The pay issue has been long resolved. Everybody always wants more money but the military needs much more than more pay. Change procurement and all the fraud waste and abuse and use that for a pay increase. We need a robust military industrial base that can mass produce weapons and ammo. Currently we don't have this. We need to stop the Woke shite everywhere in the military, cut down the number of support v. combat troops and reduce the huge number of senor leaders, v. common troops. We have some 1000 flag grade officers leading 1.5 million military personnel. During WWII, we had 2000 of such officers leading 12 million personnel. This is a problem.
3
That is a stupid comment
2
Of course the Jewish situation is exactly like what is going on today via Affirmative Action. It's blatant bigotry.
2
Yup, that is horrible.
2
Good discussion and resolution.
2
There should not be race based goals for any profession or activity. The very idea is racist and assumes skin color or race somehow confers some ability, thinking or state of being, that cannot be achieved in any other way.
2
Any of these three would be infinitely better than any Demo possible.
2
I'm not shocked at all. Tulsi has always been conservative but embraced the Demo party, merely because of that party's hold over Hawaii. As she experienced, the actual Demo party is a very different beast from what she envisioned. Her pivot to the Right/Center, is refreshing and speaks to common sense over ideology.
2
Good speech.
2
No, you do not. You can camp in the forest service without a permit. That might apply to certain areas like Yellowstone but is not generally the reality. Most national parks have areas specifically for camping and if go into the woods, you are off the grid.
2
@LoveLee-jz1tj What work do you do? What are you qualified to do? How old are you? Where are you working now? I don't think you understand basic economics and the job market. Wages are based upon supply and demand for a given skill set and then modified by government interventions, like minimum wage. Employers to not base wages upon rents, that is a different market. Life is hard and if you are not making it where you are, I would suggest you must move.
2
Belongings they have stolen?
2
@chavonj4680 Because we have laws and of course the same applies in suburbs as well. In rural areas you can camp though living in rural areas is also not legal. You have to own land and cannot appropriate it by pitching a tent. Public toilets are everywhere but if someone is doing this as part of his/her lifestyle that is illegal and must be punished. Yes, panhandling is protected but harassment is not. There is a fine line that is frequently crossed. Despoiling is to make a place dirty as is the norm in the encampments made by the homeless. The homeless are not to be pitied but dealt with. No subsidies but forced treatment, incarceration and for the mentally ill, long term institutions must be made available.
2
@TheDmitriProject It is true I am. Of course, so is the bulk of the population. The median height for American men is 5'9".
2
@TheDmitriProject Half the homeless in the USA live in one state. California, why? If you live in an area that you cannot afford. Move to someplace where you can afford to live. Sleeping in pubic is not the problem, camping and living in public spaces is the problem. You are engaged in a strawman argument. If a person is merely down on their luck, employed with folk like yourself and needs a place to sleep, that is not the same as the encampments of hundreds of drug addicts, alcoholics, dirty, nasty pan handlers we see all over the state and in Washington and Oregon and Hawaii as well. Doing more as a society is called subsidizing and we have tried that over the last 40 years only to see the phenomenon explode and this during decades of strong growth and currently with unemployment just above 3% nationally with some 10-12 million jobs available. I am not buying what you are selling Dmitri. You ignore the general reality for the anecdotal case. Homelessness in the USA is a lifestyle, and it needs to be stopped.
2
DEI is a cancer on the Republic. Merit is the key, not superficial characteristics.
2
@jehovahsthickness6242 Jan 1 is the transfer of power but you said vote/election 2025. Do you understand the difference? There is no vote in 2025.
2
Who is they, you mean Hamas and Hezbollah?
2
Yes, a website designer can say, sorry, that's not my kind of marriage because A. You ought not be able to compel a service or speech B. If the reason for rejection is faith/religiously based, i.e. homosexuality is an abomination to God, then obviously endorsing such a union is anathema.
2
He is smug but he is not stupid. You must give that to him.
