  1. That is an assertion you are making. You don't know that you merely state it. Also, if what you say is correct, good principles is an absurd notion. Nothing is good or evil sans God. All actions are morally neutral.

  2. You are misusing the word faith when applying it to the scientific method. If not, then you are in fact ascientific. You might hope and believe that science will someday have all the answers but lacking evidence to that effect, its somewhat nonsensical. Science is always in flux, by definition and never has all the answers. It merely attempts to understand nature and physical phenomena. It cannot answer questions of morality, beauty, purpose, or anything beyond the limits of measure. You can't be good, sans God. Good and evil, have no meaning outside of a moral framework, which can only be provided by a mega reality i.e. God.

  3. I don't think you have thought through your view. Perhaps also, you are not familiar with history of the many cultures and civilizations of the world, with so many different value systems. From a materialistic worldview, good and evil, are human constructs and are not real. All actions are morally neutral and have no value. Survival instincts do not dovetail with morality at least not in the Judeo-Christian tradition. People talk about Jesus and his message(s) because he calls them to a greater purpose and ennobles them, bolsters them in times of trouble and gives reason and a path for life and its difficulties.
