The Russians would never go to war with NATO, as Peter describes. There is no way Russia will be able to prosecute such a war. The best they could hope for is the Baltic States by using something similar to 'little green men' deny any involvement and so destabilize these nations that they fall under Russian power. This tactic is not possible in Romania or Poland or Finland.
