Friedman is a totally discredited talking head, who has no clue about military operations and barely holds his own discussing his discipline journalism. He should simply disappear, because he has not been correct on any issues since receiving his Pulitzer.

@selma5885 Not much wisdom on Chomsky; mostly just anti-western pro Leftist apologies. He tends to cherry pick his facts and leaves out what is embarrassing our counter to his positions. His anti-Vietnam stance basically sided with the Communists and his anti-Iraq War, similarly, sided with the Islamists. He has few cogent views in the macro and merely despises anti Leftist power. His writings in his subject matter, linguistics are good but outside of that realm...not so much.

No, that is a very bad idea. The Palestinians will never accept the state of Israel. They do not want a two-state solution as is evidenced from history. They want the eradication of Israel. The two-state solution is dead, and Israel is the only game in town. If you favor the 'Palestinians', you side with demonstrable evil.

No, Israel needs to continue to expand settlements in the West Bank and eventually encourage assimilation or expulsion of the Arabs, who basically form a 5th column currently, in the Islamist death cult mentality. Israel has consistently offered actual peace, which is what was achieved with Egypt and Jordan and now with the Abrahamic Accords as well. It is the 'Palestinians' who consistently reject anything resembling acceptance of a Jewish state in their midst. No Israels did nothing to bring Hamas to power. They did restrain themselves from destroying Hamas early on however. Hamas gained power in 2006, elected by the people of Gaza. Since then they have waged terror and war on Israel, rather than use the aid and money received to prosper their people. Hamas, Hezbollah, Fatah and the Palestinians chose ego/ideology over prosperity and peace.
