@doit2810 Agreed, I've seen Chinese people who are more empathetic. I'd also say that some Asian groups in Asia are more empathetic than people outside of Asia because I see a lot of hate peddled by people from outside of Asia on social media towards Indians. One of the reasons I say this is because there are ethnic Indians/pop culture who are popular or have gone viral in other Asian countries besides India that generates a positive image in some areas compared to outside of Asia.

@doit2810 For example, an Indian Kpop idol went viral in China, South Korea and Southeast Asia for the way she looks and for being Indian last year and she gained so many fans as a result. Additionally, there is a Malaysian singer of Indian descent that sings in Mandarin that is popular in China and won one of the Chinese TV singing competitions. An Indian movie, I can't remember the name, became really popular on Netflix in other Asian countries besides India, including Thailand and South Korea and sparked a makeup trend. It was a Malay woman that started the San Sanana trend that went viral on TikTok this year. For people outside of Asia, there is very little Indian representation in pop culture so their hate is way worse compared to other Asians hating on Indians.

@doit2810 Exactly, I've seen so many Chinese on Douyin who can speak about India without making racist remarks. I'd also say that many Asian groups in Asia are more empathetic to Indians than people outside of Asia because I see plenty of racism peddled by people from outside of Asia on social media towards Indians. One of the reasons I say this is because there are ethnic Indians/pop culture who are popular or have gone viral in other Asian countries besides India. For example, an Indian Kpop idol went viral in China, South Korea and across Southeast Asia for the way she looks and for being Indian last year and she gained so many fans as a result. Additionally, there is a Malaysian singer who is of Indian descent that sings in Mandarin that is popular in China and won one of the Chinese TV singing competitions. An Indian movie, I can't remember the name, became really popular on Netflix in other Asian countries besides India, including Thailand and South Korea a few years ago and sparked a makeup trend. It was a Malay woman that started the San Sanana trend that went viral on TikTok and then eventually on Douyin. For people outside of Asia, there is very little Indian representation in pop culture so their hate is way worse compared to other Asians hating on Indians.
