@Blitzkers99 Maybe calm down, as a non-Indian who has done enough research on India I recently learned that the state of Meghalaya has the second highest fertility rate in India (the state that houses the cleanest village in Asia). So what were you saying again? Only the southern states of India should be worthy of any attention because their fertility rates are well below replacement level and have been so for a long time and they also happen to be the most advanced areas in India. There is a reason why Mr Lee Kuan Yew who transformed Singapore into a first world developed nation always held positive views on the Tamils over anybody else from India. They seem to be the most socially developed of the lot. Y'all constantly bickering and fighting with each other is why your country is so far behind. You ought to read the chapters Mr Lee wrote about India and humble yourself.

@memeniamemes8191 This is footage from 2020. 1990s cameras didn't have this type of quality.

It's Indian men to be specific because I have never seen a single Indian woman say such a thing.

@sigmawords7795 South China Morning Post is a Hong Kong-based English language publication. It has nothing to do with Mainland China.

@RoachChaddjr I just want to quickly say, I only have a problem with the nationalists and supremacists. I've met many online from that country who are nice but the ones whose whole personalities are based on Indian nationalism and patriotism are really problematic. It's very hard speaking to them because they think we're all out to get them even when we're not. I honestly believe the extreme nationalism is part of the reason why India is behind today.

They have below replacement level fertility, their urban fertility stands at 1.6. That's not "breeding like rabbits", be serious.
2
@Sumi_S Actually, to be fair, that's not true because India and other Asian countries were home to the first civilisations to emerge out of Africa. While Europe expanded through imperialism, the East did not. So with imperialism, Europeans were able to settle in other areas of the world at a large scale. The European-diaspora stands at ~900 million today. There was never a mass exodus of people from India so it explains why they have much more people today.

@hindrashtravaad The male to female ratio in India is just as bad as China's male to female ratio.

@Moorthigv Yeah I noticed the South Indian states are always ahead of the rest of India, they're more socially advanced. My South Indian friend tells me India should be broken up into several countries and I see where she's coming from.

@CricketON143 *was a great country

Well what else if there in Mumbai to see besides the skyscrapers juxtaposed against the slums? Street level-wise, most of Mumbai is no different to a place like Delhi, it lacks infrastructure.

@evilentity302 South China Morning Post has nothing to do with the CCP, it's an international Hong Kong-based media outlet.
1
It most definitely is not. They have below replacement level fertility, that is not a overpopulation crisis.
1
@RoachChaddjr Ikr, I'm literally arguing with some of them now in another YouTube comment section and they're so aggressive and nationalistic. They need to calm down.
1
They have below replacement level fertility, their urban fertility stands at 1.6. One child policy is not going to do anything.

Yeah all those Himalayan and Sub-Himalayan regions are beautiful. There are people in some of those regions that want independence, understandably so.
1
@BOS-v2x Taiwan does not need independence, it is already independent. Xi Jinping just needs to recognise that Taiwan is a functioning independent democracy that is not part of China.
1
The answer is only discipline because they already have below replacement level fertility. So no need of family planning.
1
What population boom? They have below replacement level fertility. What's happening is that people are moving to the cities and they can't keep up. Their infrastructure has always been outdated and now it's really hitting them hard.
1
They already have below replacement fertility, what they need is to stop their brain drain so that educated Indians don't continue leaving that country.
1
@raiderwarrior2725 The top 10% of India's population holds 70% of the country's wealth... idk why they brag about things like that when they aren't even the ones who hold the country's wealth.

Make Ray Extreme nationalism doesn't get anybody anywhere.

@Sumi_S Are you aware that Europe once had fertility rates of 5? Why do you think populations in the Americas were able to boom after settlement? I'm not misunderstanding and I'm purely looking at this from a factual point of view.

They have below replacement level fertility, their urban fertility stands at 1.6.

The way he says "Asian countries" and then "Taipei" 😭😭
