Christianity is the most practiced religion in Africa. The countries in continental Africa that are the most successful in social indicators are North African countries which are all Muslim-majority countries. The poorest country in Africa is Burundi, a country where Christians make up 90% of the population. The issue here is that you're defining everything based on religion. Which religion you practice has nothing to do with this. Look at the most successful countries in the world, are they countries defined by Christian law? No. The Scandinavian countries of Norway, Sweden and Finland are not controlled by Christian laws and they are some of the most successful countries in the world. Singapore, Taiwan - countries which have Buddhist majorities or pluralities and some of the most successful nations in the world. The school of Humanistic Buddhism plays a huge role in Taiwanese society today. Where are the Christian laws in Taiwan?
