I wonder what the South Indians feel seeing how their country is always represented by the North Indian states which are growing in population indefinitely, while they belong to the most developed and progressive states of India where they have low fertility rates and aging populations. India is a country but at the same it's not. Each state has its own ethnic group, language and culture. Their states are more like countries than actual states.

No, it's a golden opportunity if you can actually provide jobs for your young people. Since that's not happening, all of your skilled young people are moving to Australia, Singapore, UK and the US.

@Waddle_Dee_With_Internet No, not US

No it's not.

@bunnitomoe3866 No

How can they ensure that when their government doesn't even support them?
2
@TheThinker365 I'm sorry that your government has failed you. They love to boast about you overseas but they can't actually support your goals.
2
Ikr while neighbouring Nepal and Bangladesh have below replacement level fertility, even lower than India.

@sathishreddy22 Does that make you worried for your own culture and heritage? If people from the north migrate in large numbers do you fear that you will experience what the Uighurs are facing in China? (A lot of Han Chinese have settled in Xinjiang and now form a plurality of the population in the province. Uighurs will eventually become a minority in their own land). I also recently learned about "Hindi imposition".
2
@hasna449 It's a shame that y'all are ahead but aren't getting the support that you need because parts of the north are still far behind.
2
The UK should be glad that the Indians have settled there.

@Iceyfire12 They have around 1-2 children. Their fertility rate is 2.0 and most of their states have rates of 1.9 or below.

Are you ok?
1
@officialnyiyanmoehtet I think you're a little obsessed, don't you think?
1
No let them have their South Asian double eyelids (that's how they were born) and anyway, if you really want to see North Indian girls with monolids you can find them if you go north.
1
@officialnyiyanmoehtet Okay if you say so
1
@Calibre336 Yeah but they study STEM subjects, that's what the OP is saying. In my country (Australia), the Indian immigrants here are mostly STEM graduates. So what's the problem?
1
Yeah but your impoverished states of UP and Bihar are making sure that fertility rate still stands at 2. They're bringing your entire country down and don't actually provide anything of worth to your nation except poverty and misfortune, just saying.
