I don't think Hasina's departure complicates anything for the US, in fact it might actually be a blessing in disguise for them. I say this because Hasina claimed that a "white man" tried to provide her safe passage to re-election in exchange for the establishment of a US military base in Bangladesh earlier this year. Now that she's gone, the US may try to influence what type of interim government will be established. Instead of a pro-Chinese one, they might try to create a pro-American one. The US is said to be interested in establishing a permanent military presence on Prince Edward Island in Bangladesh so this might be their chance to make their dreams come true. If it does happen, then the US will have a permanent military presence in the Bay of Bengal and in close proximity to Chinese-linked projects in neighbouring Myanmar and a permanent presence along an alternate sea route China may use in time of crisis if the Strait of Malacca were to be blockaded. The US would also have China surrounded on three fronts in time of war - South Korea and Japan in the north-east, Philippines and Singapore (which houses US military personnel) in the south-east and Diego Garcia and Bangladesh in the south-west.

I remember years ago reading how Bangladesh had become a new Asian Tiger economy and during Trump's China tariffs era, Bangladesh was one of three Asian nations to benefit from the tariffs. Like it or not, Hasina is the reason why Bangladesh had a booming economy. So I wonder what will happen now. The fact that the military quickly swooped in to form an interim government looks like a red flag. I'm only saying this because I have read about what Bangladesh was like under a military dictatorship.
