  6. The perpetrators are Uyghurs and linked o some Turkic group. I remember when this incident happened, it was all over the news and it was a Thai Hindu shrine that was targeted. When Thai police released the footage, they said they are looking for two men of "Middle Eastern or European appearance". It was never about Thai Muslims.
