The Thai authorities released photos taken from the CCTV footage in the aftermath of the attack and they explicitly said, based on the appearances of the man, they are either European or Middle Eastern and not a local. You can clearly tell from the photo that the man was not Southeast Asian.

@northbynortheast5172 Eastern religions are different to Abrahamic religions. Eastern religions are not organised religions unlike Abrahamic religions. Many Japanese people identify as "non-religious" but still take part in traditions that are rooted in Shintoism and Buddhism. This is because Shintoism and Buddhism are integral parts of Japanese culture and are considered "ways of life".

@Jenete j It's the ignorance for me. You people hark on about India like we're still in the 1950s. They have a fertility rate of 2.2 - menaing women on average are having around 2 children. You should direct your attention at other countries where the fertility rate is 6 meaning women on average are having 6 children.
