Imagine hating an entire group of people for the actions of some. I know plenty of Indians who are clean, I would never say I hate all of them even though I believe they need to teach civic pride to their people.

South Asian women have historically always outperformed South Asian men. There was a Buzzfeed video about this and South Asian women ranked higher. Something similar was reported in Australia regarding street harassment from men and South Asian women were one of the top groups that were affected alongside East and Southeast Asian women. It really depends on country I think.

@turtlesoup8134 Asian means from Asia. The only people who have issue with this term are non-Asians like Americans who refuse to use words like "East Asian" and "South Asian".

@turtlesoup8134 I think East Asia is the most different to the rest of Asia (meaning Middle East to Southeast Asia) but many East Asian Americans don't know enough about Asia to be able to take note of this.

@WastedBananas The stats are available out there. More Singaporean-Indian women date White men compared to Singaporean-Indian men that date White women, same thing in Malaysia. This is not about Chinese people, so idk why you're bringing up Chinese women. There is even a term in M'sia and S'pore to describe Chinese, Malay or Indian women that go after White men. Tabitha Nauser, Sofia Dendroff, Amelia Henderson (she's not Indian but her mum is Ceylonese Tamil who are ethnically similar to the Indian Tamils), Stephen Langdown and there are models who have competed for different Miss Malaysia pageants. Neotenous features are what women have, not men! I'm talking about WOMEN, not men. Men don't have neotenous features. There are many Indian women that have neotenous features and it's because they have more AASI (East Eurasian) ancestry, it's different to the West Eurasian (so called "Caucasoid") ancestry that prevails among most Indians, especially the North Indians. They have sharp features and such. Neotenous features make women look more "cuter" according to science.

@WastedBananas I guess the point of the matter is that when it comes to Malaysians or Singaporeans (of any ethnicity) dating non-Asians, it's far more common for Malaysian and Singaporean women (of any ethnicity) to date non-Asian men than Malaysian/Singaporean men dating non-Asian women. It's just the way it is and has been this way since the colonial era. People simply prefer Malaysian and Singaporean women over the men. This doesn't just apply to White men, it also applies to Black men. I remember years ago of a Singaporean-Indian women who was married to a Black American man and they had one daughter (unlike White people, I am yet to see an ethnic Indian or even other Asian man with a Black woman).

If he went to Puducherry he would have seen it was nothing like what we outsiders see about India. People go to Delhi and think India is all the same. Chinese people who have travelled to other parts of India have published their videos to see but only people from around Asia mostly see these videos.

@tommyh4116 There are plenty of beautiful Indian women in Malaysia and Singapore like model Shareeta Selvaraj. Shareeta is married to a white man. In fact, there is a large number of Malaysian/Singaporean-Indian women with White men in Malaysia/Singapore. Their half white kids are famous actors and models in SE Asia.

She's not Indian or Pakistani but Joy Crookes is British and was born to an Irish father and a Bangladeshi mother. Bangladeshis tend to have more East Eurasian ancestry (AASI and Ancient Southern East Asian/ASEA). Joy Crookes has more of the East Eurasian ("Asiatic") features like neotenous features and epicanthic folds that come from her mum. I've noticed that the WM that go for AW from India/Bangladesh tend to have the more neotenous features as opposed to those with more "Caucasoid" features.

@turtlesoup8134 Most of Asia btw was culturally influenced by China and India and can be divided into the Sinosphere and Indosphere. Genetically speaking, Asia is split between West Eurasian-derived groups (e.g. Arabs), West Eurasian and East Eurasian mixed groups (e.g. Indians, Central Asians) and East Eurasian-derived groups (e.g. Chinese, Indonesians).

@turtlesoup8134 Most Asians belong to an Indic or Sinic culture, there are enough similarities to justify the usage of the term to describe at least the East, South and Southeast Asians. Imperial Japan literally fought to unite these three regions after all in WW2. Africans do classify Indians and Chinese as Asians. In Asia, we consider both groups as Asians. Y'all constantly complain about this term cause y'all are using it describe phenotype and all sorts of things. Stop doing that! Stop saying "Asian" when you're only describing Chinese or Japanese people. The whole issue is that y'all refuse to use East Asian and instead want to use "Asian" to describe only three ethnic groups in Asia.

@WastedBananas In the US and Europe but not in Asia. In Singapore and Malaysia, for example there are way more Indian women with White men than Indian men with White women. Their mixed race kids end up becoming famous actresses and singers in Southeast Asia. Singaporean/Malaysian Indian women tend to be predominantly genetically East Eurasian (AASI) origin and thus look more neotenous like Shareeta Selvaraj (who is married to a White man) and Eswari Gunasagar compared to the North Indian women that migrate to the West who have Caucasoid-like (West Eurasian) features. Men seem to prefer women with neotenous features. Indian women with neotenous features look very pretty and feminine in my opinion.

Indic and Sinic civilisations have overlapped with one another. It's not about comparing China and India. It's about Sinic and Indic culture. There is overlap through Buddhism, Taoism and the festivals and traditions that have emerged from both. Hungry Ghost Festival is a festival celebrated by so many different Asian cultures. Southeast Asia is the intersection of Sinic and Indic culture. Those terms exist to describe the subregions of Asia but y'all don't use them! Start using them instead of saying Asia needs to be divided up cause it doesn't.

@WastedBananas I'm talking about Singapore and Malaysia so yes they do. No amount of denying this is going to change reality. Understand the context. Also, statistically speaking Indian men and Indian women date outside of their community at around the same rate in the US.

@WastedBananas You keep talking about stats but not once have you brought up a stat that proves that Indian date more outside of their race. The stats are available out there. Someone posted these stats on Quora years ago, so it's out there. You seem upset that people seem to prefer Indian women more than Indian men in some countries.

In Asia, broadly speaking, it's pan-Asian features. Eurasians seem to have these features at a higher rate but plenty of full Asians with predominantly East Eurasian ancestry have these features too. This is why certain Asian people like Dilireba, Chinese actress of Uyghur descent and Aria, Indian Kpop idol have gained popularity or gone viral purely for their "pan-Asian" features. There were two mixed Indian-Japanese women that went viral on TikTok recently and people from around Asia were saying they could become popular actresses in Asia because of their pan-Asian features.
