NatCo-Supremacist What does this even mean? All cultures are mixed. They developed from many influences. How do you think Japanese culture developed if it weren't for the Chinese and Buddhist influences that intermixed with the indigenous culture?

@leethal59 The unique Hong Kong architectural culture of old vs new, the British cultural influences, the cultural influences of Hong Kong's ethnic minorities like the Indians and Nepalese (Temple Street and the adjacent area would feel weird without the Cantonese street food stalls and Nepalese restaurants and ornament stores) and the Hong Kong English accent.

@josephgideon4784 Says who? The largest survey done in Singapore revealed that most Singaporeans believe class difference is the biggest form of discrimination in Singapore, not race or religion. Singaporean culture at the most basic level is a mix of Chinese, Malay and Indian (primarily Tamil) influences. Without those three groups, Singapore as a cultural concept does not exist. So idk why anybody can say otherwise.

@Ononorium Singapore mixes elements from all cultures. If they didn't, nobody would be celebrating their cultural festivals or speaking Singlish.

@naervern2107 Nepal is mixed. There are so many ethnic groups in Nepal that have contributed to the development of Nepalese culture. Bhutan may be less mixed but there's no denying the decades long cultural influence from India in terms of pop culture, Korean dramas have also had an impact in Bhutan too. Most Bhutanese movies are inspired by Bollywood films. North Korea is unmixed is the basic sense but at a cultural root basis, North Korean culture has Chinese and Buddhist influences - even though these influences came to Korea long before NK became a thing.

and what's wrong with that? Sexual minorities have freedom in Singapore.

@canto_v12 It's democratic. Singaporeans are allowed to vote and they vote for the PAP.
