Sri Lanka is a Buddhist-majority nation with different ethnic groups, languages and culture to India. It's a popular tourist destination next to the Maldives. This man doesn't represent Sri Lanka.   4. @ No it's not the same. Completely different groups with completely different cultures and religions. Sri Lankans are mostly Buddhists and their culture is a mix of Tamil, indigenous, Indonesian and Thai influences. It has nothing to do with his ethnicity anyway.
