@chaosXP3RT ...that's because the intention of the US is not to "export democracy". There are other motives behind why the US has a history of either invading or inserting themselves into foreign conflicts. There is nothing for the US to gain in Myanmar so they will never get involved. The US also has no leverage in Myanmar to be able to sway things in the country.

@elliottfunkhouser4486 You're not "dying for people" and yiur comment depicts the typical ignorance of the US. If you think the US actually invades countries to make them better then you have no idea of what the reality is. Wake up and stop living in your bubble.

@elliottfunkhouser4486 If your ancestors came from Europe, your ethnicity is not native to the US. Are you going to call the Portuguese community of Macau, "Asians"? No you won't.

@elliottfunkhouser4486 Yeah I can see who you replied to. Do you know where they are from? Also are you able to discern what sarcasm is? This is why I said the US is known for being ignorant because outside of the US, people always make a mockery of the US invasions of other countries. OP's comment was nothing more than just sarcasm, calling out the history of US invasions.

@elliottfunkhouser4486 I can see who your initial reply was directed to. I did not make any mistake in regards to that. As for the other one, yes I recognise my error now and I apologise and retract what I stated in my initial comment. I have deleted the comment for prevent any further confusion. Just one thing though, there is a difference between being born somewhere and tracing your autosomal DNA to your ancestral homeland. You werre born and raised in the US so you're an American but your ethnicity is native to England and Wales. For example, ethnic Chinese and ethnic Indians of Singapore (who in part developed Singapore into what it is today) don't declare that they are native to Singapore. Singapore recognises the native Malays, recognises Malay as the national language and one of the official languages of the country and they actually sing the Singaporean national anthem in Malay. So they're all Singaporeans (having lived there for hundreds of years) but ethnically speaking their ancestry traces back to East Asia and South Asia.

@mysticcove3392 I realised the error in my comment. However, it is true that Native Alaskans are the only ethnic groups native to Alaska. That's what I'm talking about, nothing else so I'm not sure why you're bringing up other information.

@mysticcove3392 Why would I think all Americans of European descent are bad? Is that what you got from my comment? Please, I'm not one of those people that just assumes every White American is bad. It would be very unfair to White Americans to think that way. Yep, wish you the same.

@sanukumar752 The US can't do anything. The only countries that can actually influence the way things work in Myanmar are China, India, Japan and certain Southeast Asian nations - countries that do business with the Burmese military. That's why the US wants to use India and Japan as a way to fix the issue. The thing is neither India and Japan want to ge directly involved because those two countries and most other Asian countries are countries that stand by the non-alignment policy.
