  1. The replies under those pop culture tweets on Twitter were actually entertaining in hindsight. I used to find them annoying because stan accounts would be arguing under every post but those arguments sometimes yielded entertaining exchanges like the ones between stan accounts and big brand accounts. That all changed after Elon took over and the replies were filled with verified accounts posting mundane tweets or farming for likes, not to mention the sex bots. I remember before I left Twitter how horrible the site had become. It's just full of bots, verified accounts looking for attention, blatant misinformation and hate. The only good thing on that site are the Community Notes.

  2. Twitter being the "town square" is hilarious, for young people the "social media town square" is TikTok and clearly Elon thinks so too since he created his own abhorrent "for you" page on Twitter.
