@OzzyTheGiant That's why China needs to be slammed and stripped off its position at the UN Security Council. The Rohingya issue can be solved if the Burmese military is removed from power but because China is backing the military, ethnic minorities in Myanmar (such as the Rohingyas and Karen) are continously being targeted by the military and many are fleeing across the border into neighbouring Bangladesh, Thailand, India and south to Malaysia and Indonesia. Interesingly enough, none of these refugees have crossed over into China (a neighbouring country of Myanmar). China is destabilising the Asian region and Facebook has been complicit with what's been happening by not removing fake news from the average civilian's newsfeed.

@studydesign2071 ...but they aren't fleeing to Europe or North America in droves. In fact, most of them are settling in other Asia-Pacific countries such as neighbouring countries of Myanmar, Australia and Japan has a history of adopting small numbers of them since the 2000s too. You should read up about the Myanmar crisis because the Rohingya don't want to leave Myanmar but had no choice because they were being genocided in 2017. The Burmese government in exile is actually supportive of bringing Rohingyas back, it's just the Burmese military stands in everybody's way. Not everything is about religion and not all refugee crises are the same.
