@robertconklin3850 Where are those companies going to go? Those American companies will never go to the US cause nobody in the US is going to want to work for peanuts.

@robertconklin3850 That was a threat, nobody is going to accept threats. This will happen sooner rather than later now

Ming boggling that conservative Americans think like this. Where is the manufacturing going to come from? Are Americans willing to work for peanuts? Is it not clear that for whatever American company exits China or India that there is an alternative Chinese company that will fill the void? Chinese companies are already deeply influential across Asia. China will fill the void and the US will lose access to so many markets.

How exactly is China in trouble?
2
@robertconklin3850 Okay and? Nobody in BRICS nations are clamouring to purchase American goods.
2
@robertconklin3850 Where are they going to go? Almost the entirety of the Global South has applied to join BRICS (51 nations). Those American companies will not be setting up business in the US where people are not willing to work for well below average salaries.

Why love Trump?

@robertconklin3850 Nobody likes hegemony of one country over the rest of the world, so it's going to happen. This was a threat, why would the rest of the world become submissive? It's going to shake things up completely.

@zohairshakir9967 Where are those US companies going to go? Are they going to set up in the US and are Americans willing to work for peanuts? BRICS nations to stop tariffing? No, what the US needs to do is just accept the fact that BRICS nations want to trade in their own currency. The world is NOT owned by the US, it's time Americans wake up and realised their neo-colonial behaviour is not going to be tolerated anymore. This is the emancipation of the world.

@zohairshakir9967 Nobody wants to be controlled by the US

@ab6565 Why do none of you understand that Americans of 2024 will never want to work for well below average salaries? That's the point.

@robertconklin3850 Repeating the same thing over and over. How is any of that related to the topic in question? If the US enforces tariffs on BRICS what in the US will replace what BRICS produce? It's not like the US economy is a BRICS-like economy where it can manufacture just like that, like turning on a light switch

Does the world see how much power the US holds over us? If we don't do what they say, they will punish us. They threaten us and think that's okay. How is that fair? Call it for what it is, neo-colonisation. This country is trying so hard to cling onto its fading hegemony and we're supposed to accept it. This is a message to the whole world, non-western or western because the US will always view itself as supreme and do anything it takes to keep other nations below it. The ongoing realignment of the world is going to be the biggest blunder the Americans have made since the Vietnam War.

@ab6565 I don't live in a BRICS nation. The point is there is nothing the US makes that is of value for them.

Tammy, no country is going to accept Trump's threats. It'll only exacerbate it

@robertconklin3850 Negotiating about what? To accept American hegemony and threats? The US needs access to all of these markets and put 100% tariffs on goods coming from China and the US is going to struggle big time. Have fun trying to buy the latest iPhone, TV, computer, laptop, tablet, clothing etc.
