  1. Just want to say he clearly said that Asia overall has low crime rates but then said he's focusing on East Asia for those talking about the video title. Also, Singapore has the lowest crime rate in Asia and it is a multiethnic nation composed of East Asians, Southeast Asians and South Asians. Singaporean people and culture is mostly a mix of Chinese, Malays and Indians. Singapore too had a violent past with the race riots between Chinese and Malays in the 1960s and this led to a complete change in mentality to create a harmonious society after it became an independent nation against its will in 1965.

  9.  @RobP317  It's funny how "Southeast Asian" is mentioned here in reference to "Asian culture" because most Southeast Asians (excluding Vietnam) belong to Indosphere cultures which are related to South Asian cultures. Asian in the US basically typifies Sinosphere cultures, so anything East Asian or East Asian-related.
