@paragonaaa817 Sri Lanka is NOT India, they have the highest standard of living among all of the South Asian countries and here you are thinking India's issues are also present in Sri Lanka BAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Indian migrant workers go to Sri Lanka to work in construction sites. 💀

@grabble7605 It's not that serious. Not everybody hates their colonial heritage. There are many classical elements of colonial heritage that have influenced Sri Lankan society and "Ceylon" is one example of that. The country was known as Ceylon for a long time until the nationalists decided to change the name, the reality is that it should have still been called Ceylon in my opinion.

@Nickuh31 It's not done in Sri Lanka, it's a tradition practiced in certain northern areas of South Asia (India, Pakistan and Bangladesh).

Is this an attempt to make a racist remark? If so, it doesn't make sense... just saying

@paragonaaa817 How embarrassing when you try to be racist but can't even do it properly lmfaooooooooooooooooooo

I know, cinnamon smells so nice

@unknowndescent5880 Ethnically yes, my ancestors are from there. Colonists did bad things everywhere but the idea that all they did was bad is wrong.

@unknowndescent5880 LGBT is one thing, internalised racism is entirely different. You chose to believe in internalised racism, that is a choice you made. Not everybody suffers from internalised racism. So don't compare that anti-LGBT law to internalised racism

@unknowndescent5880 This constant victim mindset is why things never change. China went through a century it termed the "Century of Humiliation" and now it's finally having its moment. So many other Asian countries are rising. I'm sorry you suffer from internalised racism but I also put the blame on the Sri Lankan government for only partaking in corruption. If their minds were in the right place, nobody would be talking about internalised racism.

@ckingc05 It's not true cinnamon, that's the point and half of these companies sell it as 100% true cinnamon, when it's not.
1
@ibrahimahmed8631 Yeah it originated in Pakistan but it's not done in Sri Lanka though.

You're joking right?
1
@GraniteInTheFace I hope you know that this is how crops of this sort are harvested in many developing Asian countries.
