@brettcantrell8650 Girls, women, female babies, anybody that is female in India deserves support. They have continuously faced repression for being female. This isn't about doctors only, it's about females in general. The female babies, girls and women of India deserve so so so much better.

I truly hope to see an India where women are respected and can work and live in peace without fear of facing such atrocities in my lifetime. As someone from the US once said on Twitter, "The strongest people God made was Indian women". It's no surprise that his tweet went viral and received thousands of likes, despite everything you all go through, you all show up and protest and make your voices heard even though the system is against you. Believe me, the whole world stands with you. Indian girls and women deserve so much better.

What needs to be done is that India should be isolated from the international community until it starts treating girls and women properly, otherwise this will never end. The men know there is no consequences for their actions, just a protest that leads to nothing.

Until India starts to treat its female babies, girls and women like actual FEMALE BABIES, GIRLS AND WOMEN, that country should be isolated from the international community in the way South Africa was deemed a pariah state during Apartheid or the way Russia is now deemed a pariah state in the West. I feel so bad for Indian girls and women. They face the brunt of everything because of what those Indian men do.

@AlamoOriginal Not all of them though and is she even a Hindu? Her family is originally from South India which would mean she's more likely to have come from a meat-eating family.

When the majority of people are protesting against one man (the president) and when you have your own ministers and other politicians in the government distance themselves from you (the president), you really think that's indicative of the people's mandate?

@conservos2349 Respect to you for admitting you don't understand the full situation but I think they're just reporting the fact. It would be wrong to say the group of men and women who stormed the Capitol because they couldn't accept the results of a election to be described as nothing more than "radicals". They couldn't accept the election results, that's the reality.

@conservos2349 The case in Sri Lanka is very, very different though. Men, women, boys and girls stormed the presidential palace after their entire way of life changed so drastically that they couldn't afford to eat, had to skip meals, couldn't go to school and were forced to accept a police curfew which had been deemed "illegal" and a violation of human rights while the president of the country stole all of their money, used violence against them to subdue the student protests earlier in the year and was living comfortably in the presidential palace. A country that was once an upper middle income nation and far richer than many of its neighbours like India to deteriorate so drastically in a matter of 3 years is nothing like what happened in the US on January 6, 2021. These people were ordinary middle class people who had to start skipping meals and had no access to electricity because of their president.
