@dharshinijayatilake7922 Singapore is a multiethnic nation made up of Chinese, Malays, Indians etc. - so people from all over Asia can blend in unlike in Europe. I think it's better to stick to travelling around Asia instead. Doesn't matter where whether it's Singapore, Dubai, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Maldives or Tokyo, the people will always treat you well. Asian cultures are nonconfrontational and passive, that's why Asians can get along better even if we look different to one another. Europe is different.

@dharshinijayatilake7922 Europe loves to define people based on skin tone, which is why they use words like "brown people". Time to de-Westernise your mindset and refrain from viewing yourself in the context of "brown people". Most people in the world have brown skin but are not all the same.

@dm.b7560 Singapore's borders are open to foreigners, it's just that it's really hard to get PR in Singapore. Singapore also prefers other Asians (like Japan and SK). The top immigrant group in Singapore are Malaysians, who are ethnically and culturally virtually the same as Singaporeans (Chinese, Malay and Tamil), followed by people from China, Indonesia and India
