  1. Just a minor correction, Sri Lankans and Palestinians, most definitely, are not Indians. Pakistanis are not Indians either. Singaporean-Indians are mostly Tamil followed by Malayalis and there are Sikhs too. There are Singaporean-Sri Lankans (Ceylonese) and while their long history in Singapore has made them become absorbed into the Singaporean-Indian population, along with the fact that most of them are Ceylonese Tamils, they are differentiated at times in society (e.g. Lee Kuan Yew spoke about them as a separate group to the Singaporean-Indians).
