@rogerfaint499 In Singapore, the Singaporean Indians earn more than any other ethnic group in the country. You know there are variations to this, right? It's not the same everywhere. Idk why you're having to compare the two groups anyway? Always Chinese vs Indian. Imagine how tired we are. Can't you all just get along??

@rogerfaint499 Yes they do. All you have to do is look at the government census data from the Singaporean government. Indians had the highest household median income among all ethnic groups in Singapore in 2020. Now can all of you just get along instead of fighting over Chinese and Indians from the same country?? The rest of the Asian community is tired of y'all constantly fighting.

@official-hb4mr This is about local Indians, not Chinese and Indian immigrants from mainland China and India respectively. It is very hard to get PR in Singapore and they are not included in the statistics. Millionaires from India and China are also not immigrating to Singapore en masse. One day, both of you will get along and maybe then the Asian Century can happen.

@official-hb4mr Foreign students in Singapore don't get PR easily. There are certain people who are more likely to get it and it's not an easy process, it's nothing like the pathway to PR in Western countries. Also, what has PR got do with this? I told you that I am talking about Singaporean-born people? Idk why you're so upset about what I am talking about. So upset that you're talking about Chinese and Indian people from China and India while I am talking about Singaporean-Chinese and Singaporean-Indians. Yeah I know Indian students are more inclined to stay, they decide to settle in my country while many of the Chinese students go back but can you all just stop fighting and comparing yourselves to one another??? We in the Asia-Pacific will know peace when China and India learn to get along until then we are going to be trapped between these two power hungry and irredentist countries.

@official-hb4mr I'm talking about all of you and I've already told the others to stop comparing days ago, you came here and started saying the same thing so I'm telling you to stop comparing too.
4
@official-hb4mr Did you read any of my comments or are you just trying to start an argument? Can you not see how I called all of them out for constantly comparing?
3
@official-hb4mr It really is not my problem if you haven't read through my comments and understood what I have said. Do not start an argument with me because you haven't read my comments properly.

@alive9386 Are you aware that Asian cultures were culturally influenced by India and China? What makes you think they're very different? We all have similarities. China and India are the mother civilisations of Asia just like Greece and Rome of Europe. Also, what makes you think all East and Southeast Asians look the same? Sultan of Brunei looks more like an Indian despite being full Malay (Southeast Asian) and NE Indians aren't the only people that look East Asian or Southeast Asian in India. Can't believe someone just posed this comment and was serious about it lmaoo

@noobihtake Firstly, most of Sri Lanka's debt is owed to Western institutions. Secondly, this is why India will forever remain a poor country with only 10% ultra-rich people controlling most of the country's wealth and why all of the educated people will leave India in droves. So many educated Indian students move to my country to study and then they remain here and become PR of my country. Chinese students, on the other hand, come here and study and then move back.

@alive9386 India is older than Asia? Lmao what are you talking about? India is in Asia, what on earth makes you think India is older than the continent of Asia? India wasn't even a united country until the British colonised it.
2
@noobihtake Malaysia is an upper middle income nation. India is a lower middle income country and is already dealing with people moving out of the country in large numbers. India can't provide jobs to all of its people. Its STEM graduates end up leaving for other countries.
2
@noobihtake The CEOs of major American tech companies are all originally from India, talent that India lost but you still don't see the issue and so I can't help you then.
2
@alive9386 This is why India needs to stop fighting with China and just accept Chinese cooperation. Chinese government and Chinese state media are literally extending a hand to India and y'all keep refusing it. Look at how these outsiders keep trying to divide up Asia without knowing anything about us, just like they did during the colonial days. China is literally the future for this region's stability. Accept it like the rest of us have.
1
@noobihtake You don't know what type of problems lay ahead of India as a result of this. India's brain drain is going to be like Malaysia's brain drain.
1
@noobihtake It's going to be extremely catastrophic. Do you know Malaysia is suffering from a such a severe brain drain that the country's own politicians express regret and anger at all of the educated people that leave their country? The World Bank even issued a warning to Malaysia about how Malaysia's brain drain is now preventing the country from becoming high income.
1
@noobihtake The British did unite India. India was a collection of kingdoms until the British unified everything from Baluchistan to Assam. Bangladesh and Pakistan becoming countries happened, a lot, lot later.
1
@noobihtake I don't need to go and do any homework, I know what I am talking about. Vallabhbhai Jhaverbhai Patel became deputy prime minister of India in 1947, after India gained independence. Nagaland, Andaman Islands, Lakshadweep etc. became part of India because of the British, that is a fact.
1
@noobihtake The way you just look past my attempts at instilling unity in the Asia-Pacific region because of nationalism is a disgrace. ...even when one is trying to be positive and encourage unity, there will always be someone there to say "no" and be antagonistic smh
1
@noobihtake Where do you think the concept of the Princely State emerged from? It's a concept that emerged in British India. Those princely states were under the suzerainty of the British. In other words, it's because of the British.
1
@LisaCutie409 You Indians and Pakistanis continuously fight over the most trivial of things. I'm not interested in any of that. Thank you, next.
1
@HoodQueen258 and what am I supposed to do with that information? Is it related to what I am talking about? No. Sorry but I'm not interested in this war that y'all have. You Indians and Pakistanis are always fighting. Don't drag me into your conflict please.

@lilywu6208 No it's "Asian"! Stop thinking "Asian" means proximity to China. It doesn't. Stop gatekeeping that term. India is in Asia and I was talking about several more Asian nations, so I said "Asian". Get over it and no you're wrong. India is not more like African cultures or people. Do some reading ASAP I'm not even from India and yet I know enough to tell you that you're wrong.. These Americans and their dilapidated education system.
1
@lilywu6208 You said the same thing last time too, bombarding my mentions with the same comment. No, you're incredibly wrong. I don't know why these Americans struggle so much with geography.
1
@lilywu6208 No it's "Asian". Stop thinking "Asian" means proximity to China. It doesn't. It's just a name of a continent. So stop gatekeeping that term. India is in Asia and I was talking about several more Asian nations/groups, so I said "Asian".
1
@lilywu6208 Also, you're wrong. India is not more like African cultures or people. Do some reading ASAP, I'm not even from India and yet I know enough to tell you that you're wrong. A grown adult woman and still struggling with basic human geography. Good grief...

@ArmageddonIsHere India has a job crisis. Whatever talent remains in that country will be lost if they don't solve that issue.
1
@ArmageddonIsHere No they did because there are areas in modern India that would separate countries or part of another country had they never colonised India. So no, that's not a lie. Sorry.
