USA using the same method to suppressed japan back in 1980s by using plaza accord etc the same method isn't going to work bcs japan rely on USA market and security beside japan and china has different phycology japan submit to USA bcs japan lost to USA in WW 2 while china see USA as imperial power just like British empire in 19th century and ofc china didn't want to go back to century of humiliation
