Meeting of Amin al-Husseini with Adolf Hitler at the Reich Chancellery on 28 November 1941
Encouraged by his meeting with the Italian leader, the mufti prepared a draft declaration, affirming Axis support for the Arabs on 3 November. Within three days the declaration, slightly modified by the Italian Foreign Ministry, received formal approval from Mussolini and was sent to the German embassy in Rome. On 6 November 1941, a German plane took him to Berlin , where he discussed the text of the declaration with Ernst von Weizsäcker and other senior German officials. In the final draft, which differed only marginally from his original proposal, the Axis powers declared their readiness to approve the elimination ( Beseitigung ) of the Jewish national home in Palestine. [ 164 ]
On 20 November, he met with German Foreign Minister Joachim von Ribbentrop, [ 165 ] and on 28 November, in the presence of Ribbentrop, Fritz Grobba and two German interpreters, he was officially received by Adolf Hitler at the Reich Chancellery . [ 166 ] Hitler later, remembering Husseini, remarked that "he has more than one Aryan among his ancestors and one who can be descended from the best Roman stock." [ 167 ] He asked Adolf Hitler for a public statement that would "recognize and sympathize with the Arab struggles for independence and liberation and support the elimination of the Jewish national homeland." [ 163 ] Hitler refused to make such a public announcement, saying it would strengthen the Gaullists against Vichy France , [ 168 ] but asked al-Husseini to "keep...deep in his heart" the following points, which Christopher Browning summarises as follows

Madrid/ Seven months after the start of Israel's war in Gaza, following the attack carried out by Hamas in Israeli territory on October 7 that left 1,400 dead, nearly 5,400 wounded and more than 200 kidnapped, the United Nations has acknowledged that some of the figures provided by the terrorist group's command and replicated by the organization are "inconsistent." Likewise, various media outlets questioned the UN for having halved the number of women and children killed in its reports, without explanation.
In its report of May 6, the 213th day of the war, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) indicated that the Palestinian victims totaled 34,735 , including more than 9,500 women and more than 14,000 children. In the report of two days later, the total number rose to 34,844 , but this time, women numbered 4,959 and children 7,797. Along with these figures, it also stated that the highest number of deaths corresponded to adult men (40%, 10,006), followed by children (37%), women (20%) and the elderly (8%). Until May 8, the UN had reiterated , in its daily communiqués, that around 70% of those killed in the Israeli bombings were women and children.

After nearly halving the number of confirmed child and female victims in Gaza, the United Nations denies any inaccuracy and says it will continue to use the counts provided by Hamas , given the impossibility of accessing the Strip due to the Israeli blockade. The UN maintains that 34,900 Palestinians have died in the Israeli operation , of which 24,868 have been identified as of May 13. That same day, the secretary general of that international organization, António Guterres, called for a detailed investigation into civilian deaths in this operation, following the death of an aid worker.
The Israeli operation against Hamas following the terrorist attack of October 7, 2023 has been embroiled in a series of controversies due to the impossibility of confirming data as important for evaluating such a conflict as the number of deaths on the Palestinian side. Since the offensive began in the Strip, Israel has prevented humanitarian aid organization personnel and the media from accessing it, leading the international community to repeat the figures given by Hamas, which controls the Palestinian territory.

"The "Palestinians," whom you call victims, sang and danced, celebrated, and handed out candy for the 7/10 massacre committed by Hamas, your supposed civilian victims, also entered Israel.and they took truly innocent people captive to Gaza, deprived them of their freedom, food and medicine, lynched people and committed abuses against them, save your hypocrisy, pro-terrorist of desk".
