@PK-999 strange how you omit all the chaos that the poor kid caused between leaving home and getting shot!? totally normal for a 17 year old poor kid to be driving a Mercedes, right?
2
@olafsigursons given you have no idea how many Ukrainians have been killed, you are hardly arguing from a position of strength. Russian artillery is swinging the fighting in their favor. learn the truth. in winter, Russia will inch towards its objectives, as planned.
2
@GrinGottsGBL exactly.
2
thanks for retelling us all what we already knew about Progozhin. and there I was thinking you might have some news.
2
@torehaaland6921 sadly, you have swallowed Western propaganda hook, line and sinker. Ukraine has brought everything upon itself. Should have pushed for implementation of the Minsk Accords.
2
@sergeyb8 so suddenly you admit a combination of Ukrainian attacks and Russian mismanagement could have caused all this? interesting.
2
and destroyed it
2
"caught in the middle are the desperate" so desperate, they have thousands of euros in cash to pay smugglers for their adventure. the desperate ones are the European taxpayers who have to pay for all of them once in Europe.
2
@kevinchen7403 so true. and how many Western journalists have posed that question? why should 18 year old NATO lads be sent to Chasov Yar to be killed, crippled or captured, while 24 yr old Ukrainian men play guitar alongside Anthony Blinken in a jazz bar?
2
but Ukraine is still winning, right? i mean bankrupt, 8 million refugees, no power supply, kill rate of 5:1 in Russia's favor, but Ukraine has Snake Island and Ghost of Kiev, right?
2
where did all Zelensky's cheerleaders go? Just can't see all the comments yelling about "Russia has lost this war" anymore! maybe they are all waiting for EU Sanctions package number 14 to be announced before celebrating, again?
2
so funny he blames Western nations for halting supplies! how about he blames his dunce of a president who was so dumb to believe NATO's promise of delivering victory over Russia?
2
Sad news that not all the Azov Nazis were killed. Better luck next time.
2
@edwardvalivonis23 i was being sarcastic. in most countries of the world he would have been shot for what he did.
2
anyone is qualified to run for office, because it is the voters who decide, not courts or judges. USA needs to learn what "democracy" means.
2
Russian: if you had implemented the Minsk Agreements you signed, you could have avoided all this. Next time, be honest.
2
not cruel, but sensible. who the hell is going to open a discount shop in an area where shoplifting is rife and criminal damage above average?
2
And this is just one of the unintended consequences of locking perfectly healthy people down and paying them to stay home and do no work. Our so called "leaders" have no clue how an economy works.
2
@mrchoudhury6611 well said
2
@peterpain6625 indeed we will
2
so, having pissed off the Arab leaders with his lecturing and hectoring in Saudi Arabia, now the clown dwarf puppet is in Japan to beg for more weaponry that Russia will destroy, and to be told by India and Brazil that he needs to get to the negotiating table.
2
every time Ukraine has major setbacks on the battlefield, it has to distract the world with a disaster: Nordstream, Kakova Dam now the ZNPP. Would be an absolute dream for Zelensky, just before the NATO summit, to go cap in hand collecting yet more billions for the nuclear disaster "Russia" created. Par for the course for the puppet dwarf comedian to pull this one.
2
How can there be more air strikes from Russia? Ben Wallace and British intelligence have affirmed that Russia is out of missiles! You don't think the West is now reduced to wishful thinking as a its main weapon, do you? Winter is Dec 21 to March 21. it's only just started. let's see when Ukrainian anger starts to turn on its own leadership.
2
@mstrmren who mentioned 3rd world country? surely you understand the difference between a 3rd world country and a country that has 3rd country status regarding EU rules?
2
@DrVictorVasconcelos of course there is proximate legal causation. so who plays God and says supplying weapons to a nation is a crime, but supplying vehicles that could be used to transport weapons is not a crime? there is also something called "legal precedent". call me crazy, but looks like a legal precedent has been set that supplying a nation with weapons is not a crime.
2
Spain now seeing the wonderful effects of mass immigration and EU freedom of movement laws. Enjoy every minute of what you voted for.
2
Oh so poor, $800 spare in his pocket to pay the smuggglers, and then even more spare cash for week after week of having to survive with no income. Quite the rich kid! Wonder if he has any left over so I can go to Senegal and sponge off his government ad infinitum.
2
so no mention of a Russian blockade? turns out you get rid of the mines. allow Russia the right to export its grain too, and we have a deal! Only the West to blame for its intransigence. All it needed was equal rights to Russian and Ukrainian exporters.
2
Typical BBC bias, using the absolute of an argument, when it is the average that is being discussed. Come on, Rosenberg. She never said there was no repression in Russia. She said she hadn't seen it, but she had definitely experienced it back home in Austria. Grow up and understand that, on balance, there is more repression in the West for academics like her.
2
@Pho-King Soup Russian Federation was never in Afghanistan. USSR, led by a Ukrainian, was.
2
@Pho-King Soup so you accept the bet?
2
"support in the West might wobble a bit" the fear in Kiev should be that support disappears totally and that the Western sheep start demanding peace talks. Everyone knows this counter offensive, IF it happens, is a do or die move for Ukraine. It isn't for Russia. Russia will be happy to play defence and keep massacring as much cannon fodder as it can until Ukraine is demilitarized (no more fighting age men).
2
"men typically stay behind to fight or work" no. all men are compelled by the Zelensky dictatorship to stay behind and fight or work. get it right.
2
So surprising his name is Abdul! My first guess was Mohammed.
2
@ht8602 sure, if you keep looking at the map from 2 weeks ago.
2
"warning signs of climate change are being ignored..." the hypocritical king forgot to finish his sentence, "....by people like me who refuse to give up our private jets and reduce our massive consumption of energy".
2
thoroughly deserved to all the French voters who didn't vote for Zemmour. You had a chance to reverse the mass immigration and consequences such as Nahel causing mayhem in the streets, but you turned away from the right option. You reap what you sow.
2
@gravelydon7072 not at all. I have forgotten nothing. I'm asking you what does Wagner PMC have to do with rampant support for Nazis in Ukraine and the fact that Ukraine is the only country in the world that has welcomed and embraced a whole nazi battalion into its national defence force? I'm also asking you to tell me which words I google to find evidence of Nazi tattoos on the founder of Wagner. Cue crickets.
2
" a giant explosion in the venter of Belgorod" yep, the massive military complex Russia has in the center of Belgorod. give me a break. yet again, the terrorist state of Ukraine massacring indiscriminately. we see why Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk separated from the nazi bully boys in Kiev.
2
@troywright359 murder is the unlawful and premeditated killing of anyone. what happened in Paris was both unlawful and premeditated. it was murder. whether it was righteous or not, that would be up for debate. to my mind, it is symptomatic of the feelings of millions of people in Europe and that is the important point. no one should be shocked by it. everyone should see it as a protest against the spineless politicians who have ruined the continent. it's not the three people who were murdered that are to blame.
2
@cobralord4279 Milley's myth that became so popular in the West!
2
@flopoz2575 a war of attrition is not won by territorial gains. let me know if you need to learn how a war of attrition is won.
2
@flopoz2575 If NATO weren't demilitarized, why would Ukraine keep having to ask for more and more weapons and ammo? If NATO weren't demilitarized, why is Russia able to fire off at least 5 times the number of missiles as NATO-supplied Ukraine? Key questions you never answer.
2
@Joshpox "defend themselves" you make it sound as if Ukraine is actually attacking!
2
@bonnie7898 The combined militaries of 32 countries that are incapable of matching just one nation's production of weapons: Russia. Simple question for you; if NATO is not demilitarized, why was it incapable of providing Ukraine what was needed for Ukraine's failed summer offensive, and why is NATO incapable of providing Ukraine what it needs right now? Looks like you are saying that NATO is CHOOSING not to supply Ukraine with all it needs? why? Keep writing your asinine and ignorant comments! light relief is always appreciated.
2
@bornwithoutconsentobviously well well well, who would believe that an Arab sounding name is the that of the suspect! So rare that a person of immigrant background gets caught up in any killings in Europe. Hardly ever happens!
2
BBC still peddling this nonsense about the Wagners trying to surround Bakhmut. At what point will the dullards at the BBC learn what a cauldron is?
2
@edwardvictormartin7511 so funny you think Russia is ready to sign a peace agreement.
2
@edwardvictormartin7511 i would imagine it will go nuclear at some point. i can see NATO sending in some boots on the ground, then Russia targeting a NATO base or two in Poland or Romania, and then a nuke exchange. entirely possible. it's a good time to move to Argentina.
2
@XsiadzBiskup unemployment is even lower than 2.7% in Cuba, but Cuba is a grim place to live. so, another thing you have learnt....low unemployment doesn't guarantee a lovely place to live. sure, all those Ukrainians are not a drain at all on the Polish taxpayers. in fact, another million or so would make Poland even richer, right? you may be right about Silesian towns today. haven't been there for a while. Russia's economy is doing just great and it's good to see Putin stand up to nazis like Denis Nikitin and the ever provocative NATO. Let's hope Zelensky and his neo fascists are defeated soon.
