  2.  @mydogeatspuke  by "gentrify" you mean make it habitable and pleasant. sounds like a good idea to me. not a big fan of crime-ridden abandoned properties in general. and you?

  3.  @mydogeatspuke  how anyone thinks of business and economics fascinates me! you included! big property investment companies must be pretty sure they could attract enough customers to buy their "gentrified" developments, so, again, the question, what is wrong with that? the buyers are happy, the investors are happy, the new properties turn a s**thole into somewhere more attractive, right?

  4.  @charlotteinnocent8752  not sure, these days, that so many jobs do have to be in the area for renters to live there. so many people work from home, many are retired or semi retired. you got the enormous number of disabled and the unemployable. thousands of migrants every few days arriving.
