  1. "the aim is to weaken Russia" said Lloyd Austin. The problem is, Russia is getting stronger, both economically and militarily, compared to the West, and Ukraine is getting destroyed (not that concerns the West unduly), so the new aim is to lengthen the conflict as long as possible to weaken Russia and pretend the West is stronger. Ukraine loses either way.
