  1. Given that the EU and NATO shattered Serbian sovereignty with 78 days of non stop bombing in order to effect secession for Kosovo, it is a bit rich to hear Borrell now claim that Russia is somehow wrong to try and achieve the same for Donbass.

  4. Catalonia already voted for secession and Spain stamped out the independence push. Presumably, then, all the Catalans fully support the Donbass vote to break free from Ukrainian rule.

  5.  @SeeLasSee  of course the news at the time was almost all pro NATO, just as it is now. Following the news during the Serbian conflict would have instilled the belief that intervening in a sovereign country to support separatists is a great idea. only problem now is that the separatists and liberators are on the other side, against NATO. Result? hypocrisy.
