  1. Italy should help, by allowing the German tax payers to fund all the transportation needed to get these illegal immigrants on a one way ticket from an Italian port to Germany. But then, again due to Schengen rules, getting illegal immigrants into Germany doesn't guarantee they won't end up in Italy anyway, so maybe best to just say "no".
