but you WOULD want to go to war for a good reason, like revenge for the 8 years of Azov Nazis shelling the Donbass, right?

@bluecardholder on the contrary, what I write is the truth as I see it and as I have experienced it in Ukraine. it is the truth you are not exposed to by Western media. Am happily retired and in no need of any cash from anyone, but my heart and soul are with the Donbass ethnic Russians and I hope they can finally break free from the tyrant Zelensky soon. Got it?

@phucanhtran1980 as always, a detailed and analytical response from Phuc

every day i thank God for putting Russians on this planet to show us the meaning of "fight for what is right".
3
@bluecardholder now then, you tell me exactly what I said that was untrue and how you know it to be untrue.
2
@joh22293 what's your point, Sherlock?
2
@joh22293 keen to debate the issues? or just desperately looking at registration dates as a way to defend the Azov Nazis?

@tryingtocorrect your definition of a "small" aerial (local?) conflict would be different from mine. so give me a number. how many people would have to die for a "small" local conflict to become a big local conflict? in my book, once you are over 100 (and Donbass has seen thousands and thousands) deaths, it ain't "small". would you say the Germans setting up concentration camps for German Jews was a purely German conflict and we should have let Germany deal with it? After all, if Jews don't like living in Germany, they can move out. And if black people are discriminated against in France, they can just move out, right? let them all just move out. If Kosovars don't like life in Kosovo, move to Albania! ...except NATO decided to bomb Serbia for 78 days...in this case it was not a local conflict. see why so many people are confused by your "rules based system". it is horribly illogical and inconsistent.
2
@tryingtocorrect maybe some think the West reports unbiasedly? when was the last time you heard Western media report on the shelling of Donetsk?
1
Western media report 6 million refugees outside Ukraine, 6 million displaced within Ukraine. Zelensky destroying his own country so easily. should have implemented Minsk accords
1
@ok-vk9fv so between 1991 and 2014, why did Russia do nothing about the Donbass? pretty amazing coincidence that Russia started problems in Donbass EXACTLY the same time there was an illegal coup in Kiev!
1
@wellbi good point, so to rephrase, the West is perfectly happy with the coup in 2014 which, by definition, was totally illegal, but are aghast at referenda which allows people to express their political opinions
1
@ettoreatalan8303 in that case, how to explain all the opposition parties in the Duma, including the Communist party? Either you are ignorant or you are confusing Zelensky (no opposition parties allowed in the Rada) with Putin! Which is it?
1
so of the 3 men interviewed, not one of them said he was fleeing the mobilization order! absolutely fake news.
1
@aroundseasia Ukraine ceased to exist as a sovereign state when it ousted its democratically elected president with Western support in 2014. Donbass citizens chose to break from Kiev and Donbass is now Russian. Azov Nazis had no right to shell anywhere in Donbass over the last 8 years. Russians are there by invitation of the free people of Donbass, and any plane that violates Donbass air space can be expected to be shot down. Very simple. Got it?
1
@ModernProspector and now the facts. Ukrainian Nazi collaborator, Stefan Bandera, is a national hero in Ukraine. He is despised in Russia. Russians fought and triumphed over Nazi Germany. The swastika tattooed Azov Nazis were welcomed with open arms to join the Ukrainian defense force. they would never be admitted to any Russian unit, ever. Right Sektor, Tornado, Aydar are all Ukrainian Nazi groups. They are not allowed to exist in Russia. There you have the facts. If you remain unconvinced watch the BBC Newsnight special on Nazi forces in Ukraine. it's on youtube still. Got it? or you prefer to keep swallowing hook, line and sinker your deluded Western propaganda and lies?
1
@joh22293 1) to get Medvedchuk safe and out of Ukraine 2) to let Ukraine's cannon fodder know that if they surrender they will not swing from a rope and may well be exchanged 3) the Azov Nazi generals will be in Turkey, not Ukraine, til war's end, so it is still a form of denazifying Ukraine. Keep in mind, many Russians are VERY angry about this arrangement, but Putin also wants to keep India, China, Turkey and Saudi Arabia on his side, so humanitarian gestures like this help in that effort. (even though I suspect Putin didn't want to do this swap)
1
@Watcher4111 desperate words from a deluded soul who has been brainwashed into thinking Russia can be defeated by the failing Ukraine/NATO fiasco. How are the sanctions working for you?
1
Russia is killing Ukrainians everyone lies. but the West lies much more...Ghost of Kiev!
1
@tryingtocorrect i think if 8 years and thousands of dead, massacred by Azov Nazis is a "small local conflict" then Russia's staging just 4 referenda in a tiny piece of occupied territory is also a small local matter. No need for NATO or EU or anyone to get involved in small ethnic Russian matters.
1
@tryingtocorrect I give you nothing but facts. THOUSANDS died as a result of Azov Nazi shelling. You believe the word of an "official war inspector"? what was his name? why did he not include all the soldiers killed in this conflict? Are you even thinking? YOU GO AGAINST THE FACTS AND DENY THE TRUTH but that would be typical of a Nazi supporter. Denying the Nazi influence over Ukraine is confirmation you support bigotry, russophobia and hate. Thank God you lost the argument and the war. SLAVA ROSSIYI..you lost.
1
@joh22293 never saw any answer!
1
@bluecardholder been to Ukraine, lived and worked there, in 2018, Not been to Donbass. Have a degree in Russian and speak it fluently. Currently have 2 Ukrainian online students, one Russian and one Kazak. so, let's hear your personal connection to Ukraine to see where you get your info from
1
@joh22293 search carefully, i answered your question about the release of Azov prisoners and then asked you to let me know how you get your firsthand info from Ukraine
@lfarrell6375 of course, someone who lived the truth of russophobia in Ukraine has to be laughed off. anything challenging your narrative of "Ukraine good, Russia bad" has to be dismissed, otherwise the house of cards of why this conflict is happening (Putin's aggression) just collapses. I was the teacher ordered not to use Russian as the class lingua franca, not you. i have that experience. not you. laugh on, fool.
1
@cuibono7774 but if you were prohibited from using German in public and told that Goebels had been declared a national hero? In Donbass, Russian speakers were told everything public must be in Ukrainian and that Stefan Bandera was now a national hero. The Azov Nazis were admitted into Ukraine's defense force...would you be a pacifist if Nazi groups were admitted into the German army? Maybe, maybe still not worth fighting about. not easy to imagine.
1
@caterine837 it is completely different from many countries! "there is ALWAYS ONE state language and everyone should use it" ok, what is the ONE state language of Belgium that EVERYONE should use? and what is the penalty for NOT using this ONE STATE language?
1
@caterine837 looks like you can't answer my very simple question about the "ONE" official language of Belgium! Want to try again? What is the one official language of Belgium?
1
@caterine837 not letting you escape from your most ignorant statement. you said quite clearly that countries always have one official language, and that everyone should use that official language. you clearly know nothing, but go ahead, show the world your wisdom. very simple question, third time of asking, what is the official language of Belgium that "everyone should use"?
1
@caterine837 and the one official language of Canada?
1
@caterine837 and the one official language of Switzerland?
1
@caterine837 and the one official language of Spain?
1
@caterine837 and the one official language of Wales? Welsh? All English speakers in Wales are compelled to have their entire education conducted in Welsh? No broadcasting of English allowed in Wales? The only language permitted in government entities would be Welsh, no English allowed? If such restrictions were implemented in Wales there would be a revolution. Now you understand why the Donbass revolted.

@martinskesteris8664 Given that a Latvian man was jailed for stomping on a Ukrainian flag, thank God I'm not Latvian! Freedom of speech now dead in the Chihuahua states (Baltic states)
