@ionnanskilliorus6877 stop kidding yourself! China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, all of Africa, all of Latin America, that represents most of the world, ALL of them more than willing to keep trading with Russia and to keep relations strong with Russia. The West tried to isolate Russia and failed miserably, hence the sanctions are a humiliating failure. BRICS has told the G7 to stop lecturing others on policy. Truth hurts, right?

@ionnanskilliorus6877 oh, let me guess? your definition of "world" is the Western World, that tiny bubble that thinks it can dictate some kind of rules based order to everyone else , right?

@ionnanskilliorus6877 hence you are terribly confused why most of the globe looks favorably on Russia

@ionnanskilliorus6877 thanks so much for the lecture on what China and India want in the future. In the meantime, what I said was true, Right now, Russia has secured the cooperation of most of the world, and the West's arrogant blundering patronizing attempts to strong arm other nations into isolating Russia has been a humiliating failure. Speculate as you wish on the future. Right now, Russia has more than enough support globally. It is the West that is flailing in panic at a new world order that sees it lose hegemony. Game set and match Putin.

1) ludicrous definition of "expansion"...by this metric the EU never expanded, USA never expanded, UN never expanded, because voluntary joining together = growing in size, but not expanding! 2) Monroe Doctrine makes it VERY clear USA views interference in affairs of the Americas as a threat to USA, and won't be tolerated. JFK's stance on Cuban missiles matches Putin's response to NATO expansion, a refusal to accept enemy military interference on the doorstep. 3) Putin has NOT tried to take over Ukraine and did not try to take Kiev, so after that lie, time to stop watching such crap.

@ionnanskilliorus6877 how do you evaluate global support for Russia?

@mikeburns1663 EVERYONE likes cheap Russian oil. Even Saudi Arabia is now importing cheap Russian oil, because Saudi Arabia can in turn then sell its own oil at an inflated price to the absolutely desperate nations like USA and EU members! While there is demand for oil, Russia will have a market. The export model that Russia has pivoted to is indeed sustainable. What is NOT sustainable is the West's rushing down the Green path and then realizing it still needs loads of fossil fuels. Sanctions are kicking in? Certainly are. The first pensioners to freeze to death this winter will be in Germany, not in Russia! The sanctions are absolutely going to cripple the West. Russia has been under sanctions since 2014! What did they achieve? In which decade do you think sanctions against Venezuela and Iran will produce changes in those countries? In which decade do you think sanctions will produce the desired political changes in Russia? You are deluded. The West, in its arrogance, thought it could bring Russia to its knees. It couldn't. The West ended up on its knees, begging the Saudis and Qatar for more energy. Pathetic. The euro has crashed, the ruble is strong. Game set and match Putin.
