@el3ndir97 I have no problem with anyone enjoying life in Monaco. It's a great place, so let Putin and co enjoy it. It is clear that, in the UK, when policy is driven by an unelected prime minister (in power NOT by popular vote) and a foreign secretary (in his post but unelected by ANY voters) that democracy has died in the West. At least Russia showed us how real democracy works.

@silvasdamata I mentioned Australia's rule compelling all citizens to vote to show you that Russia is not alone in having an imperfect democracy, yet you want to highlight just Russia. I mentioned Trump being struck off the ballot in Colorado to show you that the USA does exactly the same thing as Russia, yet you want to highlight only Russia. I mentioned the Rochdale by election to show you that in the UK, candidates are dismissed before election day, yet you choose only to highlight Russia. I do all this to show 2 things. 1. that Russia is not alone in having an imperfect democracy 2. that you are ignorant. capisce?

Lots of shiny, new EU flags been handed out to the crowd there. I wonder who paid for all that? Georgia's proposed FARA law would reveal the source of such massive funding to undermine democracy in Georgia. It doesn't come from Russia. It comes from the West.

Sly News propaganda missing the point that Russia has nothing to do with this. The proposed law is a cut and pace of USA's FARA legislation. It's about transparency, and boy, we all know why the EU wants no transparency, or we would all find out the NGO's and protest groups are all paid in euros coming from Brussels.

@silvasdamata 1. Voting in person. Russia has not succumbed to the rampant ballot harvesting and corrupt mail in ballots we see in the West. 2. Voter ID MUST be shown. 3. Opposition candidates that offer a REAL alternative view, from the Communist candidate to the Nationalist candidate. 4. Secret ballot 5. No one is compelled to vote (as opposed to "democracies" like Australia) Contrast that with the mayhem and corruption of voting in Chicago, Detroit, Rochdale. It's you doing the blathering. You probably think a true democracy is where someone like Rishi Sunak becomes prime minister of the UK without being elected by any voters at all! Disgusting.

@silvasdamata oh boy, then you need to do some more research on candidates and their exclusion from the list of candidates! Yes or no question, did you hear, recently, about the state of Colorado removing Donald Trump's name from the state ballot? Tell me who was the Labour party candidate in the recent Rochdale by election in the UK? Tell me why, exactly, 2 Reform Party candidates were removed as candidates recently in the UK. These things happen all the time. Russians are not particularly inept at filing paperwork, but Russia is the rule, not the exception, when, for various reasons, candidates are removed from an electoral list. That said, the polls in Russia, even polls recognized as legitimate by Western media, put Putin's approval rating at about 80%, and this was reflected in the actual vote. what % do you think Putin would have received if both the candidates you mentioned had been running?

The EU has a leader that no one voted for! The UK has a prime minister AND a foreign secretary that no one voted for! The Prime minister of Spain received less votes that his main rival, but remained president of Spain! Wilders, in NL, received more votes than any other party, but is denied the office of PM. is this the kind of "democracy" you really want?

If Putin's opponents are simply eliminated, how is it that Putin has opposition Communists and Nationalists to battle in the Duma every day? In complete contrast, Zelensky has no opposition parties in the Rada, Zelensky has refused to step aside or stand for re-election, Zelensky has total control over all Ukrainian media.
