  1. As a Russia supporter, I certainly do hope NATO decides to send in a lot more tanks. Russia will just destroy them, as it has done to much of Ukraine's previously massive fleet of tanks, and so demilitarization of NATO can proceed apace.

  2. No sane analyst can see Ukraine winning this conflict, so now it is about an off ramp that minimizes humiliation for the West. Scholz has one eye on that poll that says 49% of Germans don't want tanks sent to Ukraine, so he is in a tight spot.
