@franckr6159 never been more serious in my life. I like warm/hot weather. sorry if you liike it cold! More people die of the cold than the heat, so warmer winters saves lives

@franckr6159 as I said, more people die every year from the cold than from the heat. every year, any year, you choose the year. so, yes, on balance, I would be happy with a hotter summer and a hotter winter, if that is what climate change means, it would help everyone, on balance. Are you that cruel that you care nothing for the old folk and homeless who die in the winter?

@franckr6159 1) No one said that global warming was the ideal solution to homelessness. Governments of all types have sought to remedy homelessness since time immemorial, and failed. My statement of fact was that fewer people die in winter when winter temperatures are higher, and conspicuous by its absence is any counter evidence you have!

Though much of USA DID look like Oman (the dustbowl) in the 1930's when, we are told, there was no global warming! 2) 55 is unliveable? what do you think people do in Oman when it hits 50? They stop work, by law, and the Indians and Pakistanis start playing cricket! 3) your assumption of droughts is nonsense. increased CO2 is GREENING the planet. study some satellite photos. 4) yes, we can adapt, humans have always adapted and even your apocalyptic nonsense would be survivable. stop wetting the bed. 5) get a sense of perspective. some of us have been lectured to about the destruction of the globe due to the ozone layer, acid rain, rising oceans (the maldives are still there, as are the Bahamas, nothing has been washed away). it is all nonsense. here is a test to see if you have a balanced view. Name one, just one benefit of an increase in global temperatures.

Yet, when we are talking about life and death, and the many people who die in winter compared to summer, I happen to think life and death are serious. so, yes, i am serious. aren't you? looks like you revealed yourself as irrational and brain-washed, and when asked to mention one advantage of global warming, you either couldn't or wouldn't. which one was it? @franckr6159 climate change will not lead to droughts. again, you are ignorant. USA, Australia, plenty of places have had MUCH more severe droughts than we have seen in the most recent decades. If climate change causes droughts, explain the dustbowl of the 1930's when there was no climate change!

@franckr6159 you do know that far fewer people die these days from extreme weather than in the past, right? in terms of life and death (something not particularly important to you, from what I see), extreme weather these days causes a much smaller death toll.

The Maldives are not sinking, extra CO2 is greening the planet and adding to crop yields, warmer winters is a benefit, extreme weather has lower death tolls today, polar bears are thriving. you just need to search for the truth, not the diktats of extremists.

"children will not experience snow again", "Florida will be under water", "polar bears will be extinct", "deserts will be growing" (they are not!) If more severe droughts existed before GW, as they did, then you need to explain why droughts are caused by GW, and you can't, because your arguments defy logic and are based on hysteria and panic. There is no evidence that the deaths you predict will actually happen. none. it is all speculation that we have heard for decades, and it is nonsense. on the other hand, i tell you a fact, that more people die from cold in winter compared to heat in summer, and you just dismiss it as if lives mean nothing. now then, let's see you answer this one. what exactly is the relationship between human CO2 emissions and global warming? if human CO2 emissions increase by 10%, by how much does the average temperature of the planet increase? we know that CO2 boosts crop yields, which is why we should want more CO2 in the atmosphere, but tell me exactly by how much global temperatures go up per one % increase in human CO2 emission. because if you can't answer that, you can't be sure extra CO2 is a bad thing.

@franckr6159 yep, as you said, negatives largely outweigh positives. but what you say is irrelevant. it's what you can prove or confirm with evidence that is key, and you can't do that, just bed wetting panic from someone deluded by fake scientists. we'll know John Kerry is serious about global warming and climate change when he stops using a private jet, and we'll know Al Gore is serious about all this bs when his mansion is the house in TN that uses the least electricity, not the most. We'll know Obama believes in rising oceans when he buys a mansion inland and not on the beach.
