Comments by "duncan smith" (@duncansmith7562) on "The rise and cost of Ireland’s the anti-migrant movement" video.
"anti immigrant influencers" par for the course, Channel 4 refusing to distinguish between those opposed to immigration, and those opposed to mass illegal immigration and asylum seekers that enter Ireland from a perfectly safe country.

ZERO asylum seekers arrived in Ireland via its airports. A passenger is denied boarding if they have insufficient documentation to enter the country. 13,000 tourists or students entered Ireland via airports and then, subsequently, claimed asylum.
1
@FUTURAPTER so they can all be sent home, because they need no asylum
1
@FUTURAPTER looks like reading comprehension is not your forte! So, for your slow mind, I'll repeat what I said. Zero asylum seekers arrived in Ireland via its airports. it is impossible to board a flight to Ireland by stating you have no documentation to enter Ireland and that you will claim asylum on arrival. The airline will deny you boarding. The Irish state cannot check any information about them, because there is nothing to check! They have no documentation at the point they claim asylum! Hence, so many rapists, thieves, killers are allowed to enter and hence the alarming rise in such crime in Ireland.
1
@FUTURAPTER when was the last time you tried to board a flight with no documentation?
1
@FUTURAPTER so, as I said, zero people arrive by plane in Ireland as asylum seekers! you arrived in Ireland as a tourist! then you decided to change from being a tourist to asylum seeker! which country are you from that has a war that so threatened you? why didn't you stay and fight? "some people really lost their passport"...don't lie! they get on the plane with their passport, they arrive at Immigration with no passport! where do you think they lost their passport between the plane and the passport control?
1
@FUTURAPTER you need to read more carefully. EVERYTHING I said was about people arriving in Ireland via ITS AIRPORTS! No one mentioned anything about those that arrived by boats! why do you keep changing the point made?
1
@FUTURAPTER The UN is not authorized to offer any invitation to Ireland, nor any visa for Ireland! so, stop lying. what EXACTLY does an asylum seeker get when they write to the UN in their country? it's NOT a visa for Ireland, and it's not an invitation to Ireland!
1
@FUTURAPTER I agree with you on what has happened in Ukraine. Kiev has brought so much of this disaster on itself, and was foolish to think NATO can bring victory. Right, so you entered Ireland as a tourist, and then claimed asylum. That is quite normal. You did not enter with zero documentation and then claim asylum.
1
@FUTURAPTER it is zero! there is not one person who arrives at Dublin Airport as an asylum seeker! They all arrive at the airport as a tourist or on business, that is how they were allowed to board the flight! you are not allowed to board a flight to Dublin with zero documentation!
1
@FUTURAPTER people throw their passports away because then they cannot be identified. That way the thieves, rapists, jihadists, murderers can all enter. Also, the lack of passport means the Irish authorities can't see if they come from a country at war, or at peace. many countries have "bad problems" there, but why would you assume the Irish want those people to be in Ireland? Why invite yourself to someone else's house when you have no idea if they want you or not? do you have no consideration at all for the person forced to feed you and house you? why did you choose Ireland and not Poland? Did you feel the Irish want you more than the Polish do?
1
@FUTURAPTER Ethiopia has some really bad problems at the moment. Do you think 100 million Ethiopians should be welcomed into Ireland?
1
@FUTURAPTER ok, let's say 20% of Ethiopians want to go to Ireland, that would be 20 million Ethiopians choosing to enter Ireland, just as you chose to do. would that be an excellent idea? Ireland offering protection to 20 million Ethiopians? yes or no?
1
@FUTURAPTER so you are 100% sure that 100,000 Africans arriving in Ireland every year would be a good thing for Ireland. What about 1 million Africans entering Ireland every year? Would that be a lot better for Ireland than only 100,000 a year?
1
@FUTURAPTER what makes you think the majority of Irish people want 100,000 Africans coming to their island every year? Do you care what Irish people want for their country?
1
@FUTURAPTER when you say it will be "fine" for these countries to keep accepting immigrants, will it be "fine" for all the women raped by the immigrants, the man knifed by the immigrants, the children, like the ones in Southport, murdered by the immigrants? will everything be just fine for these victims?
1
@FUTURAPTER we are not talking about how many people would WANT to come to Ireland. You said immigration would be good for Ireland. So, my question for you, how many would be the PERFECT number for Ireland? If the Irish people could choose the perfect number of immigrants to come to Ireland every year, what would that ideal number be? one million a year? ten million a year?
1
@FUTURAPTER the housing problem in Ireland is primarily because of migrants. The population of Ireland has increased because of migrants like you, and more people looking for housing means higher prices for rent. the government does not set the price for rental accommodation. private house owners decide that. fewer immigrants mean lower rental prices.
1
@FUTURAPTER you don't understand how rental accommodation works. the government does not decide any rental pricing in Ireland. It's private landlords that do that, and most private landlords don't want migrants in their houses, so they put their prices up high. fewer migrants mean lower rental prices for all. why didn't you go to Poland to hide?
1
So very important that the women and children asylum seekers and refugees understand how they are despised by so many of the native Irish, and for them to know why.

absolutely astounding that it took all of 7 minutes and 36 seconds of this report before Channel 4's much beloved phrase "Far Right" was uttered. Still waiting for Channel 4 to refer to those who support asylum seekers as "Far Left", and I get the feeling I'll have a long wait.

"they're good men" women who have been married to men for 20 years say that, before deciding to get a divorce.
