  27.  @hanshansen3885  some of us remember the days following the Oct 7th horror when aid trucks were amassed at the Rafah crossing and Egypt forbade any crossings, of vehicles or people. Only under intense international pressure were limited amounts of food and aid allowed to enter, and very few people allowed to leave Gaza. so, the question for Egypt, why? answers, please? In Israel's case, why supply your enemy with what it needs so that the next attack on Israel can be carried out?

The Rafah crossing was controlled by Hamas and Egypt, NOT ISRAEL. Egypt did not, initially, allow ANY aid to ENTER Gaza. The border was closed. so, until you answer the question why?, you will never grasp why Israel has no monopoly on aid entering Gaza.

In fact, Egypt has had that crossing with Gaza closed for years now. why? 2 years ago there would have been no urgent need for Gazans to flee to Egypt, would there? so why has Egypt been part of the arrangement to make Gaza an "open air prison" and to join forces with Israel in besieging Gaza?

Hamas is a branch of Islamic Brotherhood, a terror group banned in Egypt. When will you learn that Hamas is as much an enemy of Egypt as it is of Israel? I repeat, Egypt has maintained a closed border with Gaza for YEARS! Humanitarian aid has been severely limited by Egypt because like Israel, and the rest of the sane world, Egypt ultimately wants Hamas destroyed, and that means Israel succeeding in its quest to eliminate Hamas and its supporters (keep in mind, 70% of Gazan voters voted for Hamas). The reason the US had to build a pier in Gaza for aid delivery was because Egypt SEVERELY LIMITS the aid crossing into Gaza. If Egypt had allowed full and 24/7 access to Gaza since Oct 7th, there would be no humanitarian crisis, but people like you can only blame Israel, and never any Arabs. Pathetic.

Gazans were, with VERY few exceptions, banned from leaving Gaza and banned from entering Egypt.. However, before Oct 7 the situation concerning crossings into Israel didn't change much, with a free flow of Gazans entering Israel and returning to Gaza on a daily basis, along with whatever aid was needed. Now, you tell me, before Oct 7, which of the two, Israel or Egypt, most resembled the power that was besieging, or cutting off, Gaza? Only a liar or a fool will answer "Israel".

Israel has created many problems, deservedly so, for those who refuse to recognize Israel. It's very simple. Arabs can live and prosper, like the 21% of Israel that is Arab, IF Israel is accepted and recognized. Any misery experienced by Arabs in Gaza or the West Bank is all due to continually fighting, and losing to , Israel. There already is a 2 state solution. Jordan is 80% of the Palestinian Mandate, and Israel should be the remaining 20%. Learn some history.

Israel allowed energy to flow into Gaza, Israel allowed food to flow into Gaza, Israel allowed 60,000 Gazans to cross the border daily to work and return home. And all this happened while Hamas fired rockets into Israel with the hope of killing civilians. Egypt, on the other hand, never got attacked by Gaza but kept its border with Gaza closed tight, hence Hamas had to dig tunnels into Egypt in order to operate. But Israel and Israel alone, is to blame for everything. Are you 5 years old?
