  1. the "stick of gum" argument is infantile. GA law already has a red line drawn, as everyone in court knows. All gifts over $100 must be declared. so, if the stick of gum costs more than $100, then, yes, if that gift goes undeclared, the law has been violated.

  2. when the judge donated to Fani's campaign, he announced to the world his impartiality. there is no reason to believe such declared impartiality has evaporated over time. therefore, it is a travesty of justice that this impartial "judge" should be deciding this case. is this really the legal standard in GA?
