Latvians should fear attack from Russia simply because Putin, rightly, intervenes when ethnic Russians are discriminated against, and Latvia, like Ukraine, has anti Russian language laws in place that could well lead to mass unrest. Just allow Russian speakers equal rights and there will be no problems.

"we live good relatively speaking"...is the "we" the rich of Lithuania and is it relative to the poor of your country who are getting absolutely crushed by inflation? sadly, I fear you don't know why this is all happening. you just think you do. like the 95% that were convinced the Earth was flat.

@hatge1803 Ukraine will definitely lose and the chihuahua states on the Baltic will be made to look like the fools they are.

@Hi_Its_Chris Given that Germany and France have nothing with which to help guarantee the security in Europe, and given that Germany and France signed the Minsk Agreements and then did nothing to implement them, only a fool would look to Germany and France for anything connected with security.

"we"? you are speaking on behalf of the poor Moldovans who protest against the government because fuel poverty is so rampant now in Europe's poorest country?

@StreuB1 Does 82nd Airborne have any experience fighting a real army like Russia? Does 82nd Airborne have diversity and inclusion training? Does 82nd Airborne match the quality shown by US forces in Afghanistan last year, millions of dollars worth of weaponry abandoned, 13 servicemen dead, one innocent Afghan family droned to death as a revenge attack? Does the US commander in chief even know what day it is? The US is pathetic, and Moldova should be wary that the presence of 82nd Airborne means sweet FA

@StreuB1 the usual ignorant arrogance from the US. Did the Viet Cong turn out to be a joke too? The Taliban who put your 13 servicemen 6 ft under, they were a joke too?

@StreuB1 "Assad's days are numbered" said Obama. There are Russian troops in Syria supporting Assad. There are American troops in Syria opposing Assad. Guess what? Assad is still in power, US powerless to change anything.
1
@StreuB1 How many months did the US forces need to take Fallujah?
1
@Cookie-Dough-Dynamo nah, been to Appalachia, about as interesting as watching paint dry there. yawn.

@DSan-kl2yc No one is commenting on the US in Afghanistan. The topic in hand is the US EXIT from Afghanistan, where the total domination came from the sandal wearing goatherders who, we were told, would take 90 days to take Kabul (they took 90 hours, "total domination" by US intelligence there) and where in humiliating, disordered panic 13 US soldiers were killed, millions of dollars worth of equipment abandoned, oh, and an innocent Afghan family droned to death for good measure. Does the US commander in chief even know what day of the week it is?

of course a village in western Latvia was chosen. Can't have any ethnic Russians from the Russian speaking east having a say.
