The intention was to bring Ukraine to the negotiating table, which worked. But then NATO, just as Ukraine and Russia were edging toward an agreement in Istanbul, intervened and ordered their puppet to sign nothing, as NATO promised Russia would be defeated on the battlefield. Oh dear! didn't turn out too well, did it?
