I am testing YOUR understanding of basic politics .All you had to say was European monarchies are indeed hereditary monarchies, but they are all constitutional monarchies too, and constitutional monarchies are different from monarchies like North Korea. ok, so how about you list all the hereditary monarchies that are not constitutional monarchies on the planet, just so I know the list of places that cannot possibly be far Left OR far Right. The truth is that King Charles willingly stepped into the political world a long time ago, with many a controversial political opinion expressed ad nauseum. You need to learn some basic politics and read up on all the political statements made by Charles, and then you will see just how much of a political figure he is and how ridiculous your statement is about him being non-political. Followed his career closely, have you?

@UnfollowYourDreams he can propose legislation and has proposed legislation. every time he speaks about Green energy he is proposing what laws should be introduced to make the planet Greener. He does nothing BUT propose legislation it seems! Every time he speaks at a COP event, Charles is recommending the Green Party. You are confusing the theory of what his constitutional bounds are with the reality of his political influence and his political activity. Is Cuba a hereditary monarchy?

ANYONE with power or influence who suggests new laws is suggesting, or proposing, new legislation. Politics in the Commonwealth IS altered by his opinions. You don't think the more woke nonsense Charles babbles on about the more the Caribbean nations want to detach themselves from any connection with the British government? Because I understand the full scope of words like "proposing" I can see that figures like Charles do indeed propose measures, laws, changes etc and that they use political influence to attain their aims. The confusion comes from those like you who are constrained by strict definitions and then fail to grasp reality, cloistered by narrow definitions that fail to reflect reality. You end up stating that "the people elected Raul!" Again, how many million people voted for Raul?

Keep in mind the teacher in China can work for a private school in "Communist" China, the teacher in Cuba cannot work for a private school in "Socialist", only Left and not Far Left, Cuba! This debate started when I said Mussolini was a Socialist. True statement. You tried to correct me, but you are wrong, Mussolini was indeed a Socialist. Factually, you are wrong, and now I can see you have not examined the true nature of political labels. If China is "Far Left", why do the media never refer to China as a "Far Left" government. Castro was nominated by the National Assembly, in the same way Kim Jong Un was nominated. Castro received ZERO votes from Cuban electors. And you call that "left", not "far left"!
